Most children, by nature, are empathetic: “But, kids don’t
know what to do in all situations.… If they see someone being cruel to someone
else, it’s not always easy for them to know what to do” (quoted in Wilde 2013).
Thus, it is necessary to equip every child with the confidence and knowledge on
what to do not only when they are personally confronted by a bully but when
they see a peer being bullied.
